Women in Construction Week | Safety

March 7, 2022 | By Chesapeake Contracting Group | Women in Construction

he spotlight is on the Safety department for Monday’s #WICWeek2022 daily feature. CCG’s commitment to safety extends well beyond our own team, encouraging and supporting all trade partners, consultants and owners to always keep safety top of mind.

Chelsea Vetick, CCG Safety Manager, knows the importance of her role and is proud of her contributions on and off the jobsite. “What makes me proud to work in construction is the ability to have involvement throughout the building process and know that by the completion of a project, my efforts aided the workers involved. It might not be a tangible final product but it’s the comfort in knowing that all involved had gone home safely to their families each evening and could witness the fruits of their labor at a project’s end.”

Thank you to Chelsea and the Women of Safety for all that you do!
