FutureCare Capitol Region

Construction type consisted of a mic of structural steel, structural light gauge metal framing, Hambro floor structure and wooden roof trusts. With this new Rehabilitation and Wellness Center the residents of this area now have a world-class local setting. In many ways this facility will resemble a hospital by providing short-term, high-quality rehabilitation services to the surrounding community. Details include; Two beautifully landscaped courtyards, Large Activity Rooms, Resident Library and Media Center, Beauty Salon and Restorative Therapy Suite. This project is the 15th facility for FutureCare, and the first new free-standing facility in PG County in more than 20 years, totaling just over 93,000 square feet. Extensive sound control measures were put in place due to the close proximity to the 495 Capital Beltway. Also unique, an elopement security system was installed to prevent residents from wandering outside of the building.
